ViewSonic launches three new portable projectors for education market, including PJL3211, PJD5351 and PJD5111. The ViewSonic PJL3211 is a short-throw LCD projector with 1024×768 resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens and 500:1 contrast ratio. The ViewSonic PJD5351 is also a short-throw projector but based on DLP display technology. It offers 1024×768 resolution, a throw ratio of 0.9. DHS Systems LLC has revealed several changes to its deployable rapid assembly shelter (DRASH) deployable command and control equipment (DC2E). See, I said competition from Sony would spur Texas Instruments to improve its products for digital cinema projectors. TI has announced that it’s on track to deliver a new DLP Cinema platform by the end of the year. Projectors that run on said platform will likely hit theaters by early next year. With the coming of spring comes also comes new and exciting products. Today ViewSonic has announced three new soon to be released projectors, the PJL3211 , PJD5351 , and the PJD5111 . All three models are incredibly light weight and feature 2500 ANSI lumens.
