Marantz Releases New 1080p Projector

Marantz, known for high-end video equipment, is releasing their new VP-11S1L DLP projector to the North American market. The VP-11S1L projects a native (1920 x 1080) resolution from a distance of up to 22 feet. While very impressive, it’s also expensive, with a starting price expected to be no less than $20,000 USD.

Epson Announces Their First 1080p HD Projector

Epson, manufacturer of nearly all the LCD panels found in digital projectors today, announced their new PowerLite Cinema Pro 1080 projector for high definition home theater content. The new projector will feature the new D6 LCD panel with C2Fine technology which has recently underwent mass production to compete with rival DLP technology.
